This will keep the towel from rolling down the shoulders.

Using a Towel:
The best way to use a towel to avoid discomfort while squatting is to drape it around the shoulders like a cape. You can fold the towel once but only once. More than that and the towel will become unstable.

The Manta Ray:
The Manta Ray is an injection-molded device that snaps easily onto any bar. Its function is to spread the weight of the bar over a wider area of the shoulders. Almost all girls and slim athletes like the Manta Ray because of the high comfort level. About half of high school athletes who are well muscled like the Manta Ray. About half do not. Experienced lifters have told me that it takes several workouts to make a good adjustment. Inexperienced lifters have success and are happy with the first rep. I believe every high school weight room should consider having Manta Rays for their squat racks so that all athletes can squat without saying, Ouch! nces in athletes over this span of time. Players have gotten stronger but the big difference is in their speed. Players today are much faster. The high school coaches are doing a better job every year and every year I think they just can t get any bigger but they do.
I would advise the high school coach to work his players hard on the Squat, Clean and Speed Development. Be able to watch, see and measure improvement in whatever you decide to work on. Organization is the key.
You also lift to prevent injuries. For example, we have two Glute-Ham machines. I feel that exercise is really important and believe it may be the primary reason we have only had one hamstring pull in two years.
Look at what is important today. Do today what will make you better tomorrow. Consistency is the key. You have got to stick with it not just get fired up for a couple of weeks and then quit. Make sure you get good rest and excellent nutrition. It all comes down to execution and motivation. Help your players understand the why and how of what you are doing. f I don t then I m always gaining on my competition. The magazine also inspires me because it tells me about some of the troubles that many outstanding athletes have had to overcome. In fact, his strong work ethic is the reason he prefers not to have training partners.
When I work out I like to get everything done, and then do extra. Whenever I work out with a partner, we have to change weights too much and it just takes up too much time. I like being by myself, pushing myself, and whenever I need a spotter I call on my dad to come over and help me out. As for his expectations for this work ethic, his immediate goals include squatting 500 pounds and running 4.3 in the 40.
One person who inspires Cole is his brother, who is now at Central Missouri focusing on his pre-med studies. He s very supportive of me, says Cole. When he was in high school, we would compete against each other and get little attitudes; but whenever he was on that field, all I did was focus on him.And that is the way he is with me now. He calls me almost every night, and we talk football and he helps me out. He is my main role model he is the one who convinced me that I could do all this.
When asked who he would like to thank for helping him achieve his goals, Cole answered like a true Eleven: I thank God and my family, because God is the one who made it all possible and it s my family who
